Strong leadership is vital for digital success. This doesn’t mean having senior people being users of the latest technology, or spending their time creating TikTok videos – but if they do, great!

Digital leadership is more about taking ownership for digital design, data and technology – and seeing it as an opportunity to improve the organisation.
It also means giving permission to staff to innovate and experiment with new ideas, approaches and technologies. Keeping faith with new ways of working even when things get tough, and supporting the whole organisation to change to make the most of the digital opportunity.
